PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy (“Policy”, “Privacy Policy”) shall describe the manner in which Quertes Limited with its registered office at 69 Trinity Street, Dublin 2, Ireland, collects, uses and discloses personal data of the Users of the Application and services provided by Quertes Limited. In this scope Quertes Limited shall be the personal data collector. This Privacy Policy shall constitute an integral part of the Application Terms of Service (“Terms of Service”). Definitions of the terms used in this Privacy Policy have been included in the Terms of Service. The provisions of the Terms of Service shall be applied accordingly. This Policy shall not apply to sites or websites posting other statements.


  1. DATA PROCESSED BY QUERTES

    1. The scope of the processed personal data shall be determined by the scope of data completed by you and sent to us by means of relevant forms. Processing your personal data may pertain to your first and last name, e-mail address, username, your residential address, computer IP address, localization data, ID of the device on which the Application is installed.

    2. The Application may store http enquiries, therefore the files containing web server logs may store certain data, including the IP address sending the enquiry, the name of User’s station—identification through http protocol, if possible, date and system time of registration and receipt of the enquiry, information concerning errors which occurred while executing the http transaction. Web server logs may be collected for the purpose of proper administration of the Application. Only persons authorized to administer the IT system shall have access to the data. Files containing web server logs may be analyzed for the purposes of preparing statistics concerning traffic in the Application and occurring errors. Summary of such details shall not identify you.

  2. PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

    1. We shall process personal data for the following purposes:

      • creating the Account,
      • providing services by electronic means,
      • examining filed complaints,
      • promotional and commercial actions of Quertes Limited,
      • settling reports related to infringement of terms of service by the Users and third persons,
      • collecting fees,
      • individual service of the Users,
      • conducting market research, and in the case of having your express consent, sending marketing and promotional offers on the basis of User’s preferences,
      • undertaking further actions to the benefit of the Users in accordance with information provided upon obtaining the data,
      • linking information related to Users with information obtained from other entities and using them for the purpose of improving and customizing the Services, content and advertisement,
      • preventing potentially prohibited or illegal actions and enforcement of the Agreement,
      • and other activities indicated in the Terms of Service.
  3. DISCLOSING DATA TO OTHER ENTITIES

    1. Data shall be disclosed to other Users in order to allow contact between the Users. Your data shall be also disclosed to the Chef with whom you are bound by the Sales Agreement.

    2. Personal data collected by Quertes Limited may be disclosed to competent state bodies upon their request on the basis of relevant provisions of law, or other persons and entities–in the cases prescribed in the provisions of law. We may also disclose information to persons who need it to work for us. Data shall be disclosed only for the purpose of performing agreements for provision of services to hosting companies and a company providing accounting services for Quertes Limited.

    3. Disclosing the personal data to unauthorized entities under this Privacy Policy may take place only upon a prior consent of the User to whom such data refer.

    4. Quertes Limited may disclose anonymised data to third persons without User’s consent. Such data will not include any information which would allow identification of the User.

  4. PAYMENT PROCESSORS

    1. We use services of third-party payment processors for the purpose of processing payments for certain services. When you make the payment we may share certain information (in this information enabling identification) with those payment processors only for the purpose of enabling the execution of the payment transaction, which shall include, among others, your first and last name, address and credit card details.

  5. INFORMATION SECURITY

    1. Quertes Limited shall apply technological and organizational means in order to secure processing the personal data corresponding to the threats and category of data to be secured, in particular, through technical and organizational means Quertes shall secure data against publishing to unauthorized persons, taking over by an unauthorized person, processing in violation of the law and change, loss, damage or destruction; among others the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificates shall be applied. Users’ personal data shall be collected and stored on a secured server, moreover, the data shall be secured by Quertes Limited’s internal procedures related to processing personal data and information security policy

    2. In order to log in to the Account, it shall be necessary to provide a relevant login and password. In order to ensure an appropriate level of security, the password for the Account shall exist only in an encrypted form. Furthermore, registration of and logging in to the Account shall proceed in a secure https connection. Communication between the User’s device and the servers shall be encoded using the SSL protocol.

    3. At the same time we state that using the Internet and services provided by electronic means may pose specific teleinformatic threats, such as for instance: presence and operation of worms, spyware or malware software, including computer viruses, as well as possibility of being exposed to cracking or phishing (fishing passwords) and other. In order to obtain detailed and professional information related to the security in the Internet, we recommend taking advice from entities specializing in such IT services.

    4. The Application shall enable you to provide your personal and financial data for the purpose of closing a transaction. We encourage our business partners and Chefs to disclose their own privacy protection practices and to respect the privacy of other Users. Quertes Limited may not, however, guarantee privacy protection or personal data security on the part of third parties or Chefs and therefore the User should assess the rules of privacy protection and security of partners with whom transactions are concluded already before concluding a particular transaction and meeting the decision on providing information about yourself.

  6. PERSONAL DATA OF PERSONS BELOW THE AGE OF 18

    1. Quertes Limited shall not process personal data of persons below the age of 18, unless it has obtained the consent of a legal custodian of such person. If a person below the age of 18 uses the services and such person’s legal custodian fails provide the consent for the personal data to be processed, Quertes Limited shall immediately remove the personal data pertaining to such person.

  7. ACCESS TO DATA/CHANGE OF DATA

    1. The User may resign from receiving e-mails containing marketing content by clicking a relevant link included in such messages.

    2. Please remember that you shall have the right to control processing the data which pertain to you, in particular the right to: (a) access your personal data, complement and correct them by reporting such request to Quertes Limited, (b) request temporary or permanent suspension of their processing or their removal if they are incomplete, invalid, inaccurate, or if they have been collected in violation of the statute, or they have become unnecessary to realize the purpose for which they had been collected, (d) object processing your personal data—in the cases prescribed in the legal provisions—and the right to request their deletion if they become unnecessary to realize the purpose for which they have been collected.
